Blue Seal Silver Certificates

Blue Seal U.S. Silver Certificates were first issued in 1878 and were America’s second-longest issued paper money. As the name states, these were backed by the U.S. Government’s silver deposits and could be redeemed at that time for silver from the U.S. Treasury.

Red Seal Notes

The original “Greenbacks”, Red Seal U.S. Notes were first issued by Congress & President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War in 1862. In regular circulation until the 1970’s, the now obsolete Red Seal Notes were originally redeemable in U.S. Gold up until 1933.

These handpicked bills from pivotal periods of U.S. history resonate with the essence of the leaders they represent and the times they’ve seen. These are a Numismatic must-have, from the crispness of the print to the historical implications, a collection standout for currency connoisseurs.
