Morgan Dollar

Morgan dollars were minted from 1878 through 1904, and then again in 1921. The coin is named for the designer, George T. Morgan. The coins are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Generally considered one of the most attractive designs ever made by the United States Mint, Morgan dollars are widely collected because of their beauty, their historical significance during the gold rush and the wild west eras, and their true precious metal content.
